A coward?

during the brawl between servants, I told him put down your weapon or help me to stop this violence, (I,1,82) and he called me a coward and told me he hates my family. How are there people in this world still like him! I'm trying to stop the deaths of many over a stupid cause, and I'm viewed as a coward, what is this caveman times? People need to do whats best for the group not just themselves! People only think of themselves, I wish more people looked out for one another.
